Bouncing and keeping warm

I get really happy when my foster mom comes home. Wanna see? Here's a fun video of that:

And, when I'm not bouncing and wiggling, I like to build myself a nest and snuggle in for warmth. I did this all by myself (can you see me?):

I'm famous!

I'm totally famous. I was featured in Portland's Willamette Week paper this week AND I'm sponsored by Voodoo Donuts! Foster / adopt me and I'll try to introduce you to my peeps.

Park time & lap time

We went to the dog park again after work. There were a lot of big dogs there and I was fine with them, but I found another chihuahua mix and I had a lot of fun with her. Here's a video of me:

After the park, I got some fun lap cuddling time. As you can see, I am very comfortable on someone's lap:

Monday was a funday

My foster parents go to work but they have someone come at lunch to let me and my foster sister pee. Yesterday, to show off how brave I am, I was standing on the windowsill when the dog walker arrived. The windowsill is too tall for me to look out of without standing on my back legs. That's too tiring, though, so I just hop up on there to let the world know "This is Ody's house!" The dog walker got a great shot:

The we took a stroll around the block. As you can see, I know how to walk well on a leash and waited until we got outside to do my business. That's right, folks, no accidents in the house all day for me!

Remember, I could be your new very best friend! Contact Pixie Project to meet me!

First full day!

Today was a big day. I didn't have to stay home but got to go to work with my foster mom and Christie the dog. I was SO excited to go for a walk. Here's a fun video of me running around eager to go on an adventure:

I seemed nervous in the car but I was just excited. I like to look around a lot in the car:

We parked and I got to walk a few blocks downtown. Boy did that make me feel cool! Finally we got to the office. I had a few sips of water and then decided it was nap time.

First 24 hours

The first 24 hours went swell! I rode great in the car, although I do like to look out the window. I pooped when we got out of the car and wandered around my new temporary neighborhood. Then we went inside. Oh boy was that exciting! I got to smell and meet everyone in the house, including a 60 pound Christie dog and two cats (both of whom are bigger than me!). I am totally fine with dogs and cats and have even lived happily with kids.

I absolutely LOVE to snuggle and be held. I don't think I'll ever get enough of either!

My foster parents had plans last night so they left us all home alone. When they came home, no accidents by me, since I'm house trained. We went outside and took a stroll around the neighborhood. Then it was bed time and at first they put me in a separate room in my crate (I'm crate trained) but I wanted to be near my new family so I cried a little. So they brought me into their bedroom where I slept peacefully and the whole night. Christie and the two cats were in there, too, and we all had sweet dreams.

This morning, I woke up and did some cute stretching, then we went outside for a walk. It was a long walk around the park and through the neighborhood, but I kept up and did my business. Then inside for breakfast and then I got back into bed and snoozed the lazy Sunday morning away.

Won't you meet me? I'll make a perfect only dog or a great addition to your fur family. I've got stinky breath, but I'm older and probably need my teeth cleaned. But that's my only flaw! I have a big personality for a small dog and you'll spend your time giggling at me as I waddle around the house and do the infamous Chihuahua hop.

Please contact Pixie Project if you'd like to be my long term foster home (I'm in emergency foster now because the shelter was too full) or my PERMANENT HOME!! Oh, I'd like that so much.
